Why this matters

Smallholder farmers make up 80% of the world’s farmers.
They are the foundation of our food system, yet often the last to benefit from climate finance or innovation.

To scale regenerative agriculture and carbon removal, we need more than ambition.
We need systems that connect science, finance, and fieldwork so that every climate dollar creates measurable change where it matters most.

What we’re building

At Happy Ground, we are creating the digital backbone that helps regenerative solutions become measurable and scalable.
Our system links farm-level data such as soil health, fertilizer use, and crop performance, then turns it into verified climate intelligence aligned with SBTi and ISO frameworks.

Our first focus is biochar.
We turn agricultural residues into biochar-enhanced fertilizers that store carbon, improve soil health, and reduce emissions.
Each tonne creates traceable, lasting value for farmers and supply chains.

Why we do this

Because data should not stay on paper.
It should empower the people working closest to the land and make it possible for the world to invest in them with confidence.

We believe this is the missing infrastructure needed to scale regenerative agriculture — a bridge between science, data, and real-world action.
