🇹🇭 Advocating for Biochar at the Board of Trade of Thailand
We were truly honored to speak at the Board of Trade of Thailand’s Annual Seminar on the Green Transition, where we had the privilege of advocating for biochar as a critical solution for Scope 3 decarbonization for corporates. Every opportunity to raise awareness about the potential of biochar in driving sustainable practices is incredibly important—especially when it comes to advancing Thai agriculture and building a greener future.
A Collaborative Path Toward a Sustainable Future
The seminar provided a platform to discuss the steps we need to take to navigate the green transition, and it was clear that collaboration is at the heart of this transformation. Bringing together key players from all sectors is essential to making the green transition a reality, including corporates like Yara International, banks like KASIKORNBANK, and startups like Happy Ground.
The highlight of the discussion was the focus on inclusion—ensuring that everyone, from large corporations to small startups, plays an active role in creating a sustainable future. As we move forward, it’s essential that every voice is heard, and that collaboration drives the action needed to tackle climate change effectively.
A Shared Vision for Thai Agriculture’s Future
It was a true privilege to share the stage with Ms. Nantiya Pitakwongdeengam, Country Manager of Yara Thailand, and Dr. Karin Boonlertvanich, Executive Vice President of KASIKORNBANK. Together, we explored how each of us can contribute to a greener, more resilient future for Thai agriculture.
From corporates implementing sustainable practices to startups driving innovation, we all have a role to play. Biochar is one of those innovations that can help us reduce emissions, improve soil health, and make agriculture more climate-resilient—and we’re proud to be part of that change.
Moving Forward Together
A big thank you to Bob Fox for inviting us to be part of this vital conversation. The green transition is not just a buzzword—it’s a movement that requires action, collaboration, and inclusion. We’re excited to continue driving the conversation forward and working with all stakeholders to build a sustainable, green future for Thai agriculture and beyond.
