πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Happy Ground Joins AirMiners Launchpad 2024 Cohort

We’re excited to share that Happy Ground has been selected to join the 2024 AirMiners Launchpad cohort, a leading accelerator for early-stage carbon removal (CDR) startups building innovative solutions to draw down COβ‚‚ from the atmosphere.

AirMiners is one of the most vibrant communities in the global CDR spaceβ€”and we’re incredibly proud to join this year’s cohort alongside an inspiring group of scientists, technologists, farmers, and founders working across the carbon removal frontier.

Scaling Farmer-First Carbon Removal

At Happy Ground, our mission is to unlock the power of biochar and regenerative agriculture to improve farmer livelihoods, reduce PM2.5 from open-field burning, and permanently store carbon in soilsβ€”especially within tropical, smallholder-based supply chains.

Our participation in the Launchpad comes at a pivotal time, as we:

  • Scale field trials with corporate partners in rice and sugarcane systems

  • Launch our digital traceability platform to track biochar application and farm-level carbon data

  • Prepare our first sales of biochar-based carbon removal credits and insetting packages

What Made AirMiners Special for Us

Beyond the technical and business model development, what stood out most was the hands-on, deeply thoughtful negotiation coaching. The sessions helped us build confidence to:

  • Approach investor conversations with clarity

  • Structure terms that protect our mission

  • Build long-term alignment with funders and partners

β€œThe negotiation coaching was a turning point for us. It wasn’t just about dealsβ€”it was about protecting our values while building a scalable, investable company,” said co-founder Moh Suthasiny.

On top of that, AirMiners unlocked direct access to world-class mentors in the carbon marketβ€”people shaping methodologies, leading credit marketplaces, and designing the future of high-integrity CDR. These conversations helped us sharpen our credit strategy, pricing model, and impact measurement framework for tropical, farmer-based biochar.

β€œIt’s rare to find such a generous and smart community in climate tech. The carbon market mentorship alone would have taken us years to access on our own,” Moh added.

What’s Next

Happy Ground is proud to represent the Thailand in this cohortβ€”and to bring a farmer-first perspective to the global conversation around high-quality carbon removal. We’re focused on building real solutions for corporates looking to inset within their supply chains, and buyers seeking carbon credits with measurable co-benefits.
